HMSHost names European managing director

The company has bolstered its European management as its regional business grows

HMSHost has announced the appointment of Walter Seib as managing director of the company's European business development arm, HMSHost Europe. 

Seib, who will report to senior vice-president of business development Elie W. Maalouf, is to lead European development activities in the airport channel.  He will retain responsibility for HEMS, HMSHost's Netherlands subsidiary responsible for food and beverage operations at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, where he was previously managing director. HEMS has also appointed. The Company also named Roland Loendersloot as general manager of Schiphol food and beverage operations, reporting to Seib.  

HMSHost Europe and parent company the Autogrill Group have recently been awarded new airport contracts in Athens and Marseille, as well as a major contract renewal at Amsterdam.
