HMSHost debuts food and convenience concept at Dallas

The first airport Z Market features a range of food and beverage options and travel essentials in the same area
Travel retailer HMSHost and joint-venture partner Howell-Mickens have opened the first airport Z Market food and convenience concept at Dallas Fort Worth International airport (DFW) terminal B. The new concession features a range of food and beverage choices from chef Tim Love’s Gourmet to Go selections to travel essentials such as health and beauty products, batteries and memory cards.
Z Market was designed with travellers in mind and features wider aisles to accommodate passengers with their luggage and self-service stations. The food menu includes packed sandwiches, boxed meal combinations and fresh sushi, and will feature seasonal variations.
DFW CEO Jeff Fegan said: “DFW sets high standards for our terminals and our passengers have high expectations for their airport experience. We also know the number one goal of each passenger is to get to somewhere else as quickly as possible. So we think Z Market and Gourmet to Go will be well received by our hectic and hungry travellers.”
