HMSHost and Edge 1 Cellular open I-Tech outlet at San Diego International

The new I-Tech store at San Diego International airport will be followed by four more outlets Tampa International airport next month
US retailer HMSHost has partnered with electronics operator Edge 1 Cellular to open a fifth I-Tech store at San Diego International airport terminal two. The new store offers branded electronics including headphones, MP3 and DVD players and a range of accessories.
Edge 1 Cellular, which already operates two stores at George Bush International airport, one at Ronald Reagan national and another at Orland International, is set to open four airside outlets at Tampa International airport next month featuring the new “I-Tech X-Perience” concept, where customers can try out the products in-store.
HMS Host vice president business development Anthony Alessi said: “HMS Host is pleased to partner with I-Tech to bring travellers this new airport venue offering the electronic products and accessories they prefer.”
I-Tech COO David Schiess added: “We’re excited San Diego International is our first California airport location and we’re grateful to HMSHost and the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority for extending us this opportunity. Our primary goal is to convert each consumer browsing our store into a satisfied customer whether they are seasoned electronics users or not. Our sales staff, store layout and product selection are focused on today’s consumer.”
