Hugo Boss hosted its fifth annual travel-retail conference in Prague last month, inviting its most successful store managers from around the world to attend. A highlight of the event was the presentation of the company's Travel Retail Shop of the Year award, which went to Nuance-Watson (HK)'s Hugo Boss store in Hong Kong International airport. The prize was presented by Hugo Boss' Czech business partner Sandra Udzenija.

Among the presentations and motivational sessions were an address from a representative of the German fashion house's new Shoes & Accessories business, who told delegates about its global strategy for the travel-retail market.

Boss shop managers attending the event in Prague also received training in cross-cultural communication, sales and team motivation and discussed developments and business performance in the travel-retail section of Hugo Boss.

Other awards presented during the conference went to Boss stores at Copenhagen Kastrup airport (operated by Kaufmann), Amsterdam Schiphol (run by Gerzon Duty Free), Frankfurt T1 Catwalk (run by Gebr Heinemann) and London Gatwick South terminal (run by The Nuance Group).
