Visa cardholders will receive various gifts when spending a certain amount and can also take part in a lucky draw for travel rewards
Hong Kong International airport (HKIA) has partnered with Visa to run various promotions during the Beijing Olympics. From now until August 27, Visa cardholders will receive a Visa Olympics pin when they spend HK$300 ($38) or a set of Visa Olympics chopstick pens when they spend HK$2,000 ($256). Cardholders can also present their Visa cards to take photos with sporting heroes Lie Xiang and Yao Ming at Visa’s promotional booths located in terminals one and two.
Cardholders are also eligible for the Visa “Million Dollar Travel Bonanza” lucky draw for each HK$500 ($64) spent with their cards on shopping and dining anywhere in Hong Kong, including the airport. Winners can receive travel rewards worth in excess of HK$1m ($128,295).
An Interactive Sports Arena has been set up in T2, which will feature live broadcast of the Olympics and sports-themed quizzes until August 31. Travellers can also have pictures taken with Olympic mascot Fuwa, have a chance to get limited edition Fuwa souvenirs with their purchases, transfer their images from mobile phones to the Kodak Media Kiosk via Bluetooth and have the photos decorated with a Fuwa border.
