The PAP venture, a partnership between retailer HF Phenix and Aelia owner Hachette Distribution Services, has won the fashion contract at Paris Charles de Gaulle terminal one
Aéroports de Paris (AdP) has awarded the contract to operate fashion at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport terminal one to the PAP venture, a partnership majority-owned by retailer HF Phénix and backed by Aelia owner Hachette Distribution Services. The company beat off competition from rival Paris retailer CDG Participations.
The contract concerns two airside stores and one landside. Airside, PAP will operate one 30sq m (323sq ft) Hermès boutique and a 271sq m (2,916sq ft) multi-brand store featuring shop-in-shops by Burberry, Hugo Boss and Salvatore Ferragamo. The landside store measures 208sq m (2,240sq ft).
Meanwhile, bids for the liquor, tobacco and beauty contract at CdG T1 are to be submitted this week. AdP confirmed to RavenFox.com that Dufry Group, Aelia, Alpha Retail and Aldeasa had shown interest in bidding, and said it expected "at least three" of the companies to submit final bids. The winner will be announced by the end of April.
