HDS Retail North America, the subsidiary of French group Hachette Distribution Services, has won a renewal of its combined duty-free and retail concession at Canada's Victoria International airport.

The company will operate a single 2,400sq ft (223sq m) store for a new term of 10 years. Victoria terminal & commercial operations manager Ian West told TRW: "At present they have slightly less space than that. We are going through a terminal expansion now and the retail area will go into construction next April. HDS are currently working with our architects on it."
