GuestLogix to make Asian debut

The onboard sales technology will be rolled out across the AirAsiaX fleet at the end of the month
Sales technology company GuestLogix is to enter Asia for the first time on new long-haul budget carrier AirAsiaX, which is owned by a consortium including AirAsia Group and the Virgin Group. The onboard technology provider will launch its Mobile Virtual Store technology with the airline on March 31.
GuestLogix president and CEO Tom Douramakos said: “We look forward to growing the onboard sales for AirAsiaX and helping them be the best class in their category. This signing opens the door for GuestLogix to serve a substantial airline passenger travel market in the region.”
AirAsia X chief executive officer Azran Osman Rani added: “Our mission is to deliver an unparalleled budget travel experience for long-haul travellers to, from and within Asia. GuestLogix provides the retail solution to enhance passenger convenience and secure new revenue opportunities through innovative selling of products and services onboard.”
