The 2,915sq ft store in Hong Kong International airport’s West Hall is the airport’s largest stand-alone boutique, and Gucci’s largest airport outlet

Luxury label Gucci has relocated one of its two boutiques at Hong Kong International airport. At 2,915 sq ft (270sq m), the new store in the West Hall area of terminal one is Gucci’s largest airport outlet, and the biggest stand-alone boutique at the airport.

The new store, which opened on April 4, adheres to Gucci’s strict store design principles, featuring rosewood and travertine detailed with gold and silver. It offers a range of high-end leather products and accessories, including handbags, luggage, small leathergoods, shoes, belts, watches, jewellery and sunglasses.

Approximately 45% of the airport’s traffic passes through the West Hall, and average sales for luxury brands at the airport increased 24% last year, with total retail sales at the airport growing by 13.5%.
