The chocolatier's new field sales force gains North American presence in time for the Duty Free Show of the Americas

Godiva Chocolatier has strengthened its travel-retail resources in North America with the appointment of Karen Granit as a field sales manager for the region. She will be present on the Godiva booth at the Duty Free Show of the Americas in Fort Lauderdale next month along with international travel-retail (ITR) manager North America Diane Buchanan and ITR manager Europe and Americas William Legallais.

Field sales managers are a new layer in Godiva’s management structure which was tested in Europe last year and then extended to Asia/Pacific. Legallais explained: “They are responsible for implementing at operational level the business plans agreed with customers. They support our account managers with staff training, setting up promotions, managing sales space and increasing in-store activity through interaction with consumers.”
