Nuance-Watson (HK) celebrates the opening of a travel-retail first with a make-up catwalk show
Nuance-Watson (HK) and L’Oréal Luxury Products Division (Scental) have officially opened the first Giorgio Armani Beauty Boutique in travel-retail at Hong Kong International airport (HKIA) terminal one east hall. The opening of the 30sq m (322sq ft) stand-alone outlet on January 24 was marked with a make-up catwalk show.
The L-shaped boutique “enjoys a highly visible location and opens out onto a wide frontage facing the airport’s main aisle”, according to Nuance-Watson. A catwalk-inspired Beauty Walk leads customers from the front of the store to a video wall broadcasting the latest Armani fashion show and an area for new product demonstrations. Two tower showcases feature the latest Armani fragrances and make-up products are displayed adjacent to the video wall. The other side of the boutique is dedicated to the brand’s skincare range.
