Geneva Olympic Store hits the mark

8-May-2003

The Nuance Group and the International Olympic Committee have unveiled their third Olympic Store in preparation for next year's competition in Athens

The partners hope that the 65sq m (700sq ft) store, located in the passenger hall of Geneva airport, will follow the success of the existing stores in Sydney and Athens.

The outlet will offer a range of Olympic merchandise including t-shirts, pins, posters, books and videos. The joint venture between Nuance and the IOC is to be extended to managing the shop at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, and merchandise from the shop will also be available at the airport.

Nuance president and ceo Peter Petersen said: "The Olympic Games are one of the few events where people from all over the world get together in the spirit of peace and fairness. We are delighted to be able to design the shopping world of the Olympic Rings in cooperation with the IOC."
