German wholesaler and retailer Gebr Heinemann has taken a majority equity stake in Stevela, the company that operates a 120sq m (1,290sq ft) duty-free store at Tallinn airport in Estonia. Gebr Heinemann already had a supply agreement with Stevela. "This ensures the continuation of our exclusive supply contract with Stevela," said Gebr Heinemann Divisional Manager CIS, Baltics and Mongolia Michael Rogers.

Stevela offers a full range of duty-free merchandise, except fragrances and cosmetics. SAS Trading operates another store at Tallinn airport which has the exclusive rights to sell fragrances and cosmetics products.
