The two companies will work together to investigate new business opportunities in the UK

Gebr Heinemann and Scorpio International have announced a partnership agreement to help both companies explore new business opportunities in the UK market. The companies will hold 51% and 49% stakes respectively.

Scorpio managing director Stuart McGuire, who will act as managing director of the venture, said: “We are delighted to be working with a company with such a long-standing tradition and values that are close to our heart.”

Gebr Heinemann board member Christoph Neusser added: “Scorpio International is the ideal partner to help us gain a foothold in the important UK market. There are plenty of synergies between the two family companies and we are looking forward to building on these.”
