Future for Inter Duty Free remains unclear

Following the Dominican Republic Central Bank?s intervention at the Banco Intercontinental and charges filed against the bank?s leading shareholder and president Ramon Baez, the future of the island?s biggest duty-free retailer Inter Duty Free remains unclear

As reported in DFNI May 1, Inter and Banco Intercontinental share common shareholders and the government-controlled Banco Central has sequestered control of assets belonging to these shareholders.
