The new consultancy will specialise in projects within the duty-free and travel-retail industry

HH-Ferries manager onboard services Christian Funch is to leave the Stena-owned company on March 15 to set up his own CF consulting company. Funch claims CF will specialise in a range of projects for worldwide operators, primarily in the duty-free and travel-retail sectors.

Funch said: “With 25 years experience and an in-depth background in airport shops, inflight sales and the ferry business, I can guarantee to turn travellers into shoppers. I have often employed the services of external consultants to advise on proposed new concepts or review current operations. This provides an unbiased perspective and coupled with ones own knowledge, allows modifications to an operation or marketing campaign which often results in significantly enhanced profits.”
