Funch leaves SAS Trading

Christian Funch, SAS Trading's area manager Denmark and the Baltic, is to leave the company. Funch, who has held the post since January 1 2000, leaves this week by mutual agreement. His responsibility for the company's Danish outlets will be assumed by sales manager Jesper Damkjaer, while the management of SAS' Baltic interests will be transferred to the operator's Stockholm office.

Funch insisted that the situation was being handled professionally and amicably, and thanked his many business associates for making his time at SAS "exciting and instructive".
