Frontier Duty Free Association relocates to Ottawa

12-Aug-2004

Long-standing president Julian Lewin is to stand down when the office is moved from Toronto early next year

The Frontier Duty Free Association, the trade body for Canadian border operators, is to move its head office from Toronto to Ottawa in order to strengthen links with government agencies. President Julian Lewin and administrator Rose Perusko will be leaving the association when the move is completed in early 2005.

Family ties prevented Lewin and Perusko from making the move to Ottawa, although TRW understands that Lewin is keen to stay within the industry should a suitable opportunity arise. Both will remain working for FDFA and preparing for this year's annual convention in Quebec City in November.
