Frontier Duty Free Association appoints new board

Three new directors join the board of the Canadian border operators' association

The Frontier Duty Free Association (FDFA) has appointed its new board for 2008 at its annual convention in Montreal. Three new directors have joined the board: West Coast Duty Free's Len Da Silva and Sault Sainte Marie Duty Free Store's Jeff Law as directors, and Peace Bridge Duty Free's Jim Pearce succeeding colleague Chuck Loewen as treasurer.

 

North Portal Duty Free Shop's Gene Davis remains president and Osoyoos Duty Free Shop's Cam Bissonnette as secretary, while Boutique Hors Taxes De Philipsburg's Philippe Bachand becomes vice-president, replacing Huntingdon Duty Free Shop's Garry Dickinson.

 

Executive director Laurie Karson will retain her position after completing her maternity leave.
