French authorities to press on with Espace Voyageur

(16-Oct-2002) - EU EUROPE. The implementation of the Espace Voyageur concept for airside retail in Europe has reached a critical stage. The project?s strongest advocate, French airport authority Aéroports de Paris (AdP), is installing signs at its flagship hub Paris Charles de Gaulle airport to make clear to passengers that they are entering Espace Voyageur when they leave the landside area. Crucially, AdP has gained the support of BAA, Aer Rianta and Belgian Sky Shops. Espace Voyageur signage will soon appear in their locations.
