Deluxe store Lingerie and luxury handbag and accessories concept Burresi are among the new retail concepts to feature at Frankfurt Airport's Shopping Boulevard

Fraport has opened the Shopping Boulevard at Frankfurt Airport to accommodate 1,240sq m (133,424sq ft) of retail space in terminal one landside. Formerly the Ladengalerie shopping mall, the mall has been completely remodelled and is designed to cater for demanding shoppers with up-market expectations.

New retail concepts include deluxe store Lingerie, which features fashions from Wolford, Cotton Club, Malizia, La Perla, Hanro, huit, Lejaby, Aubade and Joop!, and a luxury handbag and accessories concept from Burresi. Other retail outlets at the mall include Boss Man and Woman and Strenesse, operated by Gebr Heinemann, Marc O'Polo, Tumi and Swarovski.

The opening of the new shops was supported by First Class Shopping Cards offering special discounts to consumers during the first two weeks of June.

A 24-hour convenience store Quickers, electronics shop Fotec and Gifts +++ Souvenirs also recently opened at T1 Hall B.

By 2010 Fraport aims to almost double shopping space at the airport, to 25,000sq m (269,000sq ft).
