Four companies awarded mid-priced fashion contracts at Changi

Giordano Originals (Singapore), Lianbee-Jeco, Pedro Group and Robinson & Company have won the contracts for mid-priced fashion concepts at Singapore Changi airport

The tender for mid-priced brand name fashion concessions at the departure transit lounge north, level two terminal three at Singapore Changi airport has been divided between four companies.

Giordano Originals (Singapore) (representing Giordano Ladies) won the 98sq m (1,054sq ft) concession B at departure/transit lounge north with a bid of an additional rental of 15% of the total monthly gross sales or a minimum monthly guarantee of S$65,000 ($42,898).

Lianbee-Jeco (Braun Buffel Boutique) took 71sq m (763sq ft) of space at concession A in departure/transit lounge north with a offer of an additional rental either 41% of the total monthly gross sales or a minimum monthly guarantee of S$61,500 ($40,588).

Pedro Group (Pedro) secured 94sq m (1,011q ft) at concession D at the departure/transit lounge north with a bid of an additional rental of 25% of the total monthly gross sales or a minimum monthly guarantee of S$38,383 ($25,333).

Robinson & Company (Fat Face) was awarded the 92sq m (989sq ft) concession C at departure transit lounge north with a winning offer of an additional rental of either 22% of the total sales gross or a minimum monthly guarantee S$60,000 ($39,600).

The four retailers fought off tough competition from Active World, Chomel (Madame Butterfly), DFS Ventures Singapore (Samsonite), Espirit Retail, F J Benjamin (Singapore), Fossil Singapore, GSM Trading (Singapore) (Billabong), Jay Gee Enterprises (Levi’s), King Power International, (Samonsite) Luxury Ventures (Mercedes-Benz and Le Sportsac), M)Phosis, Opticsflair (Furla), Punto (Mango), Richburgh Holdings (Goldlion), S1 Fashionwear (BYSI), The Marketing Company (Accessorize), The Timberland Company and Trinidad Holdings (Thomas Pink).

The contracts last for three years from January/February 2008 or from the opening of terminal three with no option for renewal.
