Former Spanish premier to address TFWA World Exhibition

The former president of the Spanish government and prime minister of Spain is to address delegates at this year's conference
Jose Maria Aznar, president of the Spanish government and prime minister of Spain between 1996-2004, is the confirmed keynote speaker at the TFWA World Exhibition Conference in Cannes on October 31.
Aznar will address delegates with the theme "Outlook for a New Era of Trading" and will discuss his views on the global economy, the expansion of Europe, terrorism and their impact on travel-retail trading. He will also look at key factors driving currency fluctuations and will assess European measures to stem the rise of imitation luxury goods. Aznar will also explain the current European Commission stance on issues including the regulation of sales of tobacco, alcohol and confectionery.
The conference starts at 9.30am on Monday October 31 in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais des Festivals. Entrance to the conference is included in the TFWA World Exhibition pre-registration package and over 600 delegates are expected to attend.
