Greek fashion jewellery company Folli-Follie has announced it is set to expand the number of its merchandised corners and counters in European airports. Following an agreement with DFS signed in June last year the company already has a presence in 25 airports in Asia and North America plus Greek airports. Folli-Follie is also a 5% shareholder in Greek operator Hellenic Duty Free Shops with Gebr Heinemann and Aer Rianta.

Folli-Follie commercial director Johnnie Voutsas told TRW: "Airports are a brand new distribution channel for us but are becoming a very strong business. Our strategy is to use our [Hellenic] stake to leverage our way into other airports in the region. The DFS relationship is going well and we will be announcing a lot more European locations this year."
