The Singapore-based confectionery retailer has boosted its presence at Changi with a new contract in T2's check-in hall
Focus Network Agencies has been awarded a contract to operate a 30sq m (323sq ft) landside outlet at Singapore Changi terminal two's north check-in hall. The company, which already operates several confectionery stores at Changi under its retail fascia The Cocoa Trees, will occupy the store for three years from July 21.Focus beat novelty gifts retailer Oopsie & Co and sports fashion company VGO Corp in the tender, which also included a second 46sq m (495sq ft) outlet for which VGO was the only bidder.
For sales of up to S$30,000 ($18,543), Focus Network Agencies offered a S$3,000 ($1,854) minimum monthly guarantee (MMG). For sales above S$30,000, it is offered 17% of monthly gross sales or a S$6,000 ($3,708) MMG, whichever is higher.
The Focus bid was the highest of the three: although Oopsie and VGO structured their bids differently, both offered a maximum of 10% of monthly gross sales.
