Flightstore appoints Jewson

4-Mar-2003

Seat-back technology provider FlightStore has announced the appointment of former British Airways senior executive Derek Jewson to the role of executive deputy chairman

Jewson has previously held posts including main board director at Hogg Robinson (Business Travel International), Lauda Air managing director and Hertz Corporation senior vice president Asia.

Said FlightStore managing director Chris Brady: "Derek's reputation in the industry as a highly effective and well respected figurehead will enable us to build on our early successes and bring new and exciting relationships to the table."

"I've had over 20 years experience in the travel industry, and was convinced from an early stage that technology would play a pivotal role in driving the passenger experience," said Jewson. "FlightStore's approach struck me as highly significant in the development of airlines, particularly now as they are desperate to find incremental revenue streams."
