The store at Singapore Changi airport terminal three has unveiled a symbolic countdown clock and a shopping promotion
The FIFA Official Store at Singapore Changi airport terminal three, which opened in January 2008 under the partnership of Nuance-Watson (Singapore) and Global Brands Group, has launched a symbolic countdown clock and a shopping promotion to mark the final year until the 2010 FIFA World Cup begins in South Africa.
The shop, which now sells official licensed products for the 2010 football tournament, will offer a pair of tickets to a 2010 World Cup group match at the end of the three-month Countdown Lucky Draw competition. Until September 11, customers spending a minimum of S$30 ($20) on official merchandise for the event will be entered into the draw.
Global Brands Group CEO and co-chairman Mark Matheny said: “FIFA World Cup fans around the world are already gearing up one year ahead of the event, shown by the exceptional rate at which event tickets are being purchased. I am confident that fans will be equally excited with the range of official licensed event products available in the FIFA Official Store. Global Brands Group will also be working closely with supply partners to offer more variety of event merchandise as we count down to one of the world’s most anticipated sporting events.”
