FDFA reveals award winners

Canadian trade organisation Frontier Duty Free Association (FDFA) revealed its award winners at a gala dinner held during the convention last night
Best marketing campaign was awarded to Peace Bridge Duty Free, while Best new idea went to Peace Bridge Duty Free. Donna Patrick from Johnstown Duty Free won the Customer service award.
In the supplier categories, Best agent/dististributor/broker went to Maxxium Canada, Best large manufacturer was scooped by Imperial Tobacco Canada and Rogers' Chocolates was awarded the Best small manufacturer accolade.
BWBDF awarded a 2004 Platinum Award retaining its previous title, while 2004 Gold Awards went to: Aldergrove, DFS Ventures; Johnstown; Kingsgate Duty Free Shop; Kitt's Duty Free; Niagara Duty Free Shops; Osoyoos Duty Free Shop, Peace Bridge Duty Free; Philipsburg Duty Free, Sault Ste Marie; 1000 Islands Duty Free Store; West Coast Duty Free and Windsor Tunnel Duty Free Shop. Fort Duty Free, Hunbingdon Duty Free shop, North Portal Duty Free, Peninsula Duty Free Shops won 2004 Silver Awards.
