FDFA elects new officers

The Canadian border operators' association has appointed three new members to its board at the annual convention in Quebec

Canadian trade organisation Frontier Duty Free Association (FDFA) has elected its new board members for 2004-5. At its annual general meeting held during this week's convention in Quebec City, FDFA welcomed three new members to the board; Paul Dickinson (Huntingdon Duty Free Shop), Peter Brain (Blue Water Bridge Duty Free) and Jeff Dyer (Johnstown Duty Free Shop).

They join Gene Davis (North Portal Duty Free Shop), Heather Howard (1,000 Islands Tax/Duty Free Store), Rob Prince (DFS Ventures) and Andre Beaulieu (Boutique Hors-Taxes de l'Est) on the FDFA board.

Meanwhile, the dates for next year's FDFA convention have been announced. The event will take place at the Pan Pacific hotel in Vancouver on November 13-16.
