Estée Lauder fortifies new global structure

Estée Lauder Companies is expanding its new global brand structure with the appointment of several senior executives, who will support the company's four group presidents. The key appointments, effective July 1, are:

  • Mark Loomis is named vice-president/general manager of Estée Lauder International, succeeding Peter Lichtenthal. He will report to group president Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne.
  • Peter Lichtenthal is appointed senior vice president, global marketing of Estée Lauder.
  • Lynne Greene is promoted to president, Origins Natural Resources Worldwide, reporting to group president William Lauder.
  • John Bretton Karp is named president, Aramis and Designer Fragrance Brands. At present he is senior vice president and general manager of Aramis, Prescriptives and La Mer International. Karp's new role will encompass Aramis, Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, toni Gard and Kiton.
  • Pamela Baxter takes on the position of president, Specialty Group Worldwide, and will be responsible for Prescriptives, Jo Malone, La Mer and Kate Spade.
  • Thia Breen becomes senior vice president and general manager, Clinique North America.
