Estée Lauder extends role of Alan Hairabedian

Hairabedian joined the company in 1999 and will play a key role in demand planning in addition to his other duties

Estée Lauder Companies has extended the role of Alan Hairabedian, who will now oversee the Travel Retailing Demand Planning Group. His expanded role as executive director demand planning and business development, travel retailing worldwide, will begin with immediate effect.

Estée Lauder president travel retailing worldwide Olivier Bottrie said in a company statement:  “In addition to his current responsibilities, which include our B2B initiatives, market intelligence and corporate trade advertising negotiations, Alan will now lead our efforts in the critical area of demand planning, a vast and complex endeavour and a strategic priority for Estée Lauder Companies.”

Hairabedian, who joined the travel-retail team in 1999 as director fragrance and skincare marketing, was promoted to executive director corporate initiatives and business development in 2004.
