The airport retailer opens its third bazaar-themed Ramadhan Fest at Kuala Lumpur International airport

Airport operator Eraman Malaysia opened its third "Ramadhan Fest" in the main terminal building at Kuala Lumpur International airport (KLIA) on September 30.

An estimated 100,000 travellers will visit the bazaar-themed sale in the month-long Muslim fasting period. Visitors can buy clothes, fragrances, accessories, toys, home decorations and a selection of local foods including dates, cookies and preserved fruits.

The opening ceremony featured performances by local pop stars and was presided over by Malaysia Airlines chairman Aris Othman.

"Aside from providing a wide selection of products, the KLIA Ramadhan Fest 2005 also shows our country's rich cultural heritage to foreign travellers," said Othman.
