Malaysia Airports retail subsidiary Eraman has won a crucial tender at Penang International airport in Malaysia.

The company has won the concessions for liquor and tobacco, fragrances and cosmetics and chocolate and confectionery. The stores measure between 130sq m (1,400sq ft) and 200sq m (2,152sq ft) in the new international departures area.
The concessions were operated previously by Malaysia companies SeriAgate and Sriwani.
Eraman also operates a landside arrivals outlet and a duty-paid convenience store at Penang. The airport is undergoing a $10m renovation due for completion in mid-2001.
