Edwards joins ARI to head inflight division

Aer Rianta International Middle East (ARIME) announced today the appointment of Alan Edwards as senior operations manager-inflight

Edwards joins ARIME following its award of the Gulf Air inflight business (TRW 24/10/02), a concession for which Edwards will be responsible.

Edwards is a well-known figure in the duty-free industry, with extensive international experience in inflight sales having worked with Virgin Atlantic and Alpha.

In related news ARIME is setting up a new company in partnership with Travellers, a division of the Chalhoub Group, to target further inflight retail contracts in the region.
