The new site features the latest news, more data and a password-protected section on the industry tobacco campaign

The European Travel Retail Council has relaunched its website, www.etrc-europe.com, to allow the association to provide news and information on industry issues. The new site features the latest news and will host industry data, including the forthcoming ETRC Index, as well as presentations made by ETRC at conferences and meetings.

The website also hosts a specific section covering the World Health Organization's Framework Convention on Tobacco Control and its threat to duty-free tobacco sales. The section will include data and key industry campaign contacts, and is password protected to ensure access is restricted to industry professionals only. Companies can gain access to the section by using the "contact us" button on the main page, or by emailing ETRC secretary-general Keith Spinks on spinks.etrc@wanadoo.es.

A new membership campaign is being finalised and will also feature on the site, the association said.

Spinks said: "The redesigned website will allow us to provide our members with immediate updates and the latest information on all the issues that we are addressing, together with providing a valuable tool for promoting membership of the ETRC, both geographically and across all sectors of the trade".

Spinks and ETRC marketing assistant Aurélie Folliot managed the redesign project, working with website development company At Dev.
