A new tracking document will tell travel retailers which countries have implemented the ICAO’s liquids guidelines on a rolling basis

European Travel Retail Council (ETRC) has produced a new briefing document to keep travel retailers up to date on which countries have implemented the ICAO’s  liquids, aerosols and gels (LAG) recommendations.

Known as the “LAG regulation tracker”, the document will be updated on a rolling basis, providing information on which countries have implemented the guidelines, and how they have interpreted them.

Latest developments reported on the tracker include Hong Kong adding Australia, New Zealand and Switzerland to its accepted list for inbound transfer passengers and the news that Singapore is to implement new regulations from
May 8.

ETRC warns that the information in the tracker is only as good as that provided by its official sources, and asks users to observe that some countries on the list lack confirmed information.

The tracker is being produced in conjunction with other trade associations including Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association, Middle East Duty Free Association and International Association of Airport Duty Free Stores.

Keep your eye on RavenFox.com for more details about Singapore’s new regulations.

The tracker can also be accessed on the ETRC website, on the aviation security page.
