The shop will be the country’s second largest duty-free outlet, covering more than 1,800sq m (19,375sq ft)

Duty Free Philippines (DFP) is set to open a new downtown store at the SM City Cebu shopping centre tomorrow (July 29). The 1,800sq m (19,375sq ft)
outlet will offer confectionery, liquor, fragrances and fashion products and is described as a “more spacious and upscale setting” for customers.

DFP general manager Michael Kho will lead the opening ceremony at the new store. In a statement, DFP said: “Having another mall inside a mall is a unique and challenging idea for a retail business and provides shoppers with an exciting and wide array of products. [DFP believes it will] not only capture the tourists' attention but [also] increase DFP's revenues.”
