The retailer finally opens its new store at the US east coast transatlantic hub

Duty Free Americas will show off its long awaited new store at Boston Logan airport terminal E with a ribbon cutting this Friday. The new store, which has been relocated to a prime site just past security and extended by 300sq ft (27.9sq m), was originally intended to be completed by early 2005.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and Around The World promotion at the new store will allow DFA and the terminal’s master developer BAA Boston, part of BAA USA, to show off the extended product range, particularly summer fragrances, cosmetics and confectionery, which DFA said could be bought at a discount of up to 50% to the US domestic market.

Duty Free Americas president airport division Michael Dinar said: "We continue to provide the international traveler with well-known brand names they expect to see, tax-free and are excited to provide a snap shot of summer product favorites during our grand opening event in July."
