Dufry strengthens senior management

The retailer announces the latest management changes following its acquisition by Advent International

Dufry Group has appointed Xavier Rossinyol as chief financial officer and Jose Antonio Gea as global chief operating officer. Both have been appointed to the group executive committee and are based in Dufry's headquarters in Basle, Switzerland.

Rossinyol, formerly Dufry development director, will be responsible for the finance, business control, group information technology and human resources & organization departments. Gea joins Dufry from Spanish travel retailer Aldeasa, where he served as director of operations Spain/commercial director for the past three years. His new responsibilities will include the coordination and support for purchasing, sales, marketing, advertising and logistics in Dufry's operations worldwide.
