Dufry Group named Americas Travel Retailer of the Year at the third annual Raven Fox Americas Awards

Dufry Group was presented with the top award at the Raven Fox Awards for Travel Retail Excellence in the Americas last night (April 23) at a ceremony in Fort Lauderdale. The retailer beat competition from DFS Group and InterBaires to win the accolade.

Dufry North America and Caribbean COO José Gonzalez accepted the award, inviting Dufry South America COO José Carlos Rosa to share in the honour on stage.

InterBaires won the award for Best Airport Travel-Retail Location in the Americas for its Buenos Ezeiza operation. Other retailers honoured include London Supply, which was voted Best Border/DowntownTravel Retailer, and Duty Free Air & Ship Supply, which retained its title as Inflight Travel Retailer of the Year nfor the third year. Starboard Cruise Services chairman JP Miquel made a rare public appearance after the retailer knocked Zeinal Hermanos from its position as Best Cruise/Ferry Retailer.

Among the suppliers, the award for Best New Product Launch went to Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair, while L'Oréal Luxury Products´Americas division Parbel was named Supplier of the Year.
