Dufry reveals first-half results

The Swiss group records an increase in turnover of 7.7% for the first-half of the year

Dufry Group recorded a 7.7% increase in turnover during the first half of 2004, the retailer has announced. The company posted total sales of SFr425.3m ($330m) in the period, while EBITDA rose by 30.7% year-on-year to SFr40.1m ($31.1m).

Look out for the Cannes issue of Travel Retailer International, in which Dufry CEO Julián Díaz and chief financial officer Xavier Rossinyol discuss the retailer's latest results and its future strategy.
