The Swiss retailer has promoted Miguel Angel Martinez to COO of its Africa division
Dufry Group has appointed Miguel Angel Martinez as chief operating officer of its Africa division. Martinez replaces Antoine d'Oiron, under whom he previously served as deputy COO Africa and general manager of Dufry Tunisia. Martinez will be responsible for the group's operations in Tunisia, Ghana, Morocco and the Ivory Coast.
Dufry global COO Jose Antonio Gea said: "It is with great pleasure that we welcome Miguel Angel to this new assignment and we are delighted to add his experience to our management team."
D'Oiron left Dufry last year as the company overhauled its regional structure, merging its Western Europe and Africa divisions (DFNI November 1 2004).
