The Swiss retailer has consolidated its North African business through a new agreement with Moroccan state airport authority Office National des Aéroports

Dufry Group is opening three outlets in Moroccan airports this autumn as part of a 20-year deal to develop airport retail in the country. The agreement reached with airport authority Office National des Aéroports strengthens Dufry's presence in North Africa, where it also operates in Tunisia.

On September 1 Dufry opened a 141sq m (1,520sq ft) duty-free store in the departures area at Casablanca airport. The retailer will shortly open a departures outlet, also spanning 141sq m, at Agadir, while a 43sq m (463sq ft) store will be added at Marrakech in October. All the stores will offer liquor, tobacco, fragrances and cosmetics and confectionery, plus a selection of accessories from single-price supplier Bijoux Terner.

Elsewhere in Africa, Dufry runs outlets in Ghana and Ivory Coast.
