Dufry opens flagship store in Casablanca T2

The outlet is set to boost the company's fortunes in Africa in the second half of 2007 along with new outlets at Egypt's Sharm el Sheikh airport terminal two, which opened in September

Dufry Group has opened a 500sq m (5,380sq ft) flagship store at Casablanca Mohammed V airport terminal two. To complement the classic duty-free product assortment the travel retailer has installed corners from Hugo Boss, Hilfiger Textiles, Montblanc and Swarovski as well as sunglasses and watches.

COO Africa Miguel Angel Martinez said: “Our new flagship store atCasablanca T2 is open and [passenger] capacity should rise within the next few weeks.”

Dufry also operates a 50sq m (538sq ft) store in T3 and Martinez claimed that T1 will “probably close very soon for major refurbishments”.
