Former World Duty Free head of fragrances and cosmetics Nigel Keal has become Dufry Group's procurement director

Dufry Group has announced the appointment of Nigel Keal as its new procurement director, effective from June 12. As revealed in DFNI (February 1 2006), the former World Duty Free head of cosmetics and fragrances agreed to join Dufry after leaving the UK airport retailer in January.

Keal will take on some of the responsibilities formerly held by former Dufry chief procurement officer Liz Woodland, who left the company last year. Dufry said that Keal's good relationships with suppliers would be key to the new role.

Prior to joining World Duty Free, Keal worked for 13 years with Allders International, holding several management positions. "The knowledge and experience Nigel has obtained during his career in travel-retail is an invaluable gain for Dufry," the company said.
