Dufry completes Grand Turk deal

As first revealed in RavenFox.com sister publication Duty-Free News Florida in April, the Swiss group has secured the exclusive duty-free concession at Carnival Corp's new cruise terminal on the Caribbean island of Grand Turk

Dufry Group and Carnival Corp have completed an agreement concerning the duty-free concession at the cruiseline's new seaport at Grand Turk in the Caribbean. Dufry has secured a ten-year deal to run duty-free at the cruise terminal, which welcomes its first vessel next February. The news was first broken by RavenFox.com sister publication Duty-Free News Florida in April.

Dufry and Carnival already cooperate at the Mexican ports of Puerta Maya and Punta Lagosta in Cozumel. As at these locations, the Grand Turk store will feature a walk-through design, ensuring that all embarking and disembarking passenger pass through the store.

The 10,000sq ft (930sq m) store will offer all product categories, including a corner by single-price accessories concept Bijoux Terner.
