The Swiss retailer announces the appointment of Pilar Cano to the new role

Dufry Group has appointed Pilar Cano to the new position of marketing director, responsible for all marketing-related activities within the group. She will oversee commercial communication and research as well as developing and implementing Dufry's new brand image. She will also be charged with developing promotional campaigns and further establishing the retailer's customer service department.

Cano was most recently marketing director of Viva Tours, part of the Iberostar Group. She will be based in the group's Basel headquarters and will report directly to COO José Antonio Gea.
