The partners combine to offer a single-price concept at Rome's low-cost airport
Dufry has partnered with Bijoux Terner to open a new outlet at Rome Ciampino airport, which serves charter flights and many low-cost flights from Ryanair. The outlet opened on June 2.
The Bijoux Terner concept, pioneered in the Americas, offers jewellery and fashion accessories in the low to mid-price range. At Ciampino the 40sq m (430sq ft) store carries watches, pashminas, jewellery sets consisting of necklaces and earrings, scarves, belts, bags, straw hats, sunglasses and wallets, all for Eu12 ($14.50).
Dufry commercial director Italy region and brands Ernesto Marro said: ?Ciampino airport is steadily increasing with its charter and low-cost flights. The shop is perfectly located in the area where the passengers wait for boarding and therefore have enough time to visit our attractive shop which reflects in our sales which are increasing daily.?
