Dubai scoops Airport Retailer of the Year award
Last night at the Frontier Awards, held at the Martinez Hotel
Cannes, Dubai Duty Free was awarded the Airport Retailer of the
Year prize, the first time an operator has won an award for two
consecutive years.
South African Tourvest Duty Free won the prize for Inflight/Marine
Retailer of the Year and Kipling scooped the Star Product of the
Year award.
Almost 400 guests attended the 16th annual event, judged by
leading industry figures: vice president TFWA World Exhibition and
travel-retail managing director Europe for Cosmopolitan Cosmetics
Donatienne de Fontaines Guillame, Silja Line group product manager
Jaana Heino, Guinness UDV global duty-free managing director Vince
Horne, head of Hugo Boss travel-retail Briac Pinault, Interbaires
ceo Randy Emch and The Nuance Group Asia/Pacific ceo John
Moore.
