Dubai Duty Free wins the Business Traveller award for "best airport for duty free shopping worldwide"

Dubai International airport has been named the best airport for duty-free shopping in the world by readers of Business Traveller magazine in its annual awards.

Dubai beat competition from runners up Singapore Changi and London Heathrow to win the title. Dubai Duty Free managing director Colm McLoughlin travelled to London to collect the award, presented by Princess Anne at a ceremony on September 28.

"We are delighted to achieve the top place ahead of such successful international operations and I would like to thank the readers of Business Traveller UK for their vote of confidence," he said.
